About Us

Michiana law firm, THK Law, LLP, has been combining the resources of a large law firm with the personal attention and efficiency of a small firm since 1997. Founders Malcolm J. Tuesley and Thomas J. Hall combined their estate planning and business counsel services and set the firm’s high standard for serving clients. In 2008, Robert J. Konopa (Bob) merged his trial practice with Tuesley and Hall adding additional mediation and litigation capabilities to our portfolio of legal services. Bob continued with THK through December 2021. Today, THK Law’s team of knowledgeable attorneys and paralegals remains committed to respecting and understanding our clients’ unique business and individual goals.

Our team approach

THK Law, LLP has 3 primary practice areas, business counsel, civil litigation, estate planning, which includes elder law, and administration of estates. Within these practice areas, our attorneys handle many types of legal matters. Our attorneys consult across practice areas so our clients receive the benefit of their combined knowledge and experience.

We also have extensive experience working with large national law firms, neighboring local firms, and in-house counsel, handling complex business transactions and litigation matters.

Three offices

Our South Bend office has been located at 212 East LaSalle since 2002. In 2016 we opened an Elkhart office to better serve our growing clientele in Elkhart County, and in 2012 we opened an office in Cassopolis, Michigan to meet the needs of our Michigan client base. Contact information for all offices is found at the bottom of this page.
