SOUTH BEND, Ind./CASSOPOLIS, Mich. – (June 2, 2025). The law firm of THK Law, LLP, is pleased to announce that Andre Gammage has joined the firm as Of Counsel, bringing with him more than three decades of legal experience and a longstanding commitment to service in the South Bend community and beyond. He will focus his practice in the areas of business law, civil litigation, and mediation.
Gammage most recently served as a Magistrate Judge for the St. Joseph Circuit Court, presiding over civil and criminal matters for more than 12 years. His judicial service followed a distinguished career in both public service and private practice, including roles as a deputy prosecutor, public defender, and managing partner at a local law firm. Over the course of his career, he has served as lead counsel or presided over more than 300 trials.

A graduate of Valparaiso University and Valparaiso University Law School, Gammage has served on committees for the Indiana Supreme Court and Indiana Court of Appeals, and is certified as a mediator. He currently teaches Intensive Trial Advocacy as an adjunct professor at Notre Dame Law School.
In addition to his professional contributions, Gammage has been an active community leader, holding roles with organizations such as the YMCA of Greater Michiana, Urban League of St. Joseph County, and the South Bend Redevelopment Authority. He is a co-founder of Leaders and Positive Role Models and a frequent speaker and moderator on topics related to public safety and youth empowerment.
Gammage is licensed to practice in Indiana, as well as in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the Western District of Michigan.
