Andre Gammage joined THK in 2025, practicing in areas of business law, civil litigation, and mediation.
Before joining THK, Andre served as a Magistrate Judge in the St. Joseph Circuit Court, presiding at both the South Bend and Mishawaka Courthouses. In this role, he adjudicated a broad range of civil matters, including medical malpractice, contract disputes, estate litigation, family law, and personal injury cases. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he teaches Intensive Trial Advocacy.
Over the course of his career, Andre has served as lead counsel or presided over more than 300 trials. He is also a certified mediator and has contributed to the advancement of the legal profession through his service on committees of both the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court.
Andre earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University in 1985 and his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1988. Prior to his appointment to the Circuit Court bench, he served as an Administrative Law Judge for the City of South Bend. He has served on committees for both the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court, and he holds a Master’s Certificate from the Indiana Supreme Court. In addition to his judicial roles, Andre has contributed to the education and professional development of the judiciary as a certified faculty member of the National Judicial College and as a frequent teacher and presenter for judges across the state.
