Laura joined the estate planning team at THK Law in 2015 and assists Greta Roemer Lewis, Adam Russell, and Mick Tuesley in drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and other planning documents.
After graduating from Purdue University with a B.A. in English and Education, Laura taught English as a Second Language for several years in Indiana and California.
After returning to Indiana, she worked in the Notre Dame Development office and then earned a certificate in paralegal studies from IUSB in 2009. Before joining THK in 2015, she worked as a family law paralegal in the South Bend office of Indiana Legal Services.
Laura has lived in the South Bend area for 25+ years and loves how the city has evolved during that time. On the weekends, you can find her taking in the many activities and restaurants the city has to offer. She is the mom of two young adult children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography, walking, Salsa Rueda, listening to podcasts, and helping new immigrants integrate into our community.
